The Spirit of Service
The Leonard Carmichael Society—affectionately known as LCS—has come far since a band of about ten students back in 1958 launched the university’s first public service student organization. Today, LCS has grown to more than 1,000 participating students and is the largest community service group run by undergraduates. Volunteers have a wide impact in area communities by participating in thirty-two groups that address areas of community needs, including literacy, homelessness, and food security. To see more

After hundreds of children had finished their dance, piano and voice lessons one recent afternoon, the halls of the Harlem School of the Arts were quiet. VILLANOVA, Pa.--A pair of Villanova teammates and countrymen were each officially named to the Australian Olympic Team Wednesday afternoon and will represent their country at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil next month. She doesn't just love attending class, when Mahkile needs someone to talk to or a space to clear her head, HSA is like her second home. VILLANOVA, Pa.--A pair of Villanova teammates and countrymen were each officially named to the Australian Olympic Team Wednesday afternoon and will represent their country at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil next month. UM Club Hockey 8th Annual Alumni Game
UM Club Hockey will be hosting our 8th annual alumni game on Friday, March 15th. Current players will face off against an all-star alumni team lead by John Smith, assistant coach of the NHL Buffalo Sabres. Those making a $10 donation will be treated to an all you can eat, all you can drink buffet. Those making a donation of $20 or more will be entered in a cash prize raffle.
